Send prices
Odoo can send the price of every linked variant to Shopify. Prices for other currencies go to Shopify Markets.
- Set the store Pricelist (Orders tab), in the shop currency. Without it, the product's Sales Price is sent.
- Optional: a Sale Price Pricelist with your reduced prices.
- Decide whether Send Prices Automatically (Products tab) should be on. It is off by default, so a first connection does not change your Shopify prices.
Odoo can send prices to Shopify for every linked product with Send Price on (in Product Links).
The price sent
- Regular price: the store Pricelist price for one unit, or the product's Sales Price when the store has no pricelist.
- Sale price: when the Sale Price Pricelist gives a lower price for one unit, that price is sent as the sale (reduced) price. Otherwise the sale price is cleared.
- Prices are rounded to two decimals, in the currency of the pricelist.

Price Sent and Sale Price Sent in Product Links show what Shopify accepted last time. A test copy of the database never sends prices.
To run a sale, put the reduced prices in the Sale Price Pricelist (for example with a date range on the rules). The hourly check sends them when they start and clears them when they end.

Prices of all variants of one product go in one call. When Shopify refuses a product, the log shows the variant and Shopify's message, and the other products are still sent.
After the shop prices, Odoo also sends the prices of these variants to every Market that has an Odoo pricelist (see Markets).
Good to know
- Prices are sent in the shop currency. Use Markets for other currencies.
- A test copy of the database never sends prices.
